Eng. Peter Morais is a practicing Civil/Structural Engineer for 50 years in the capacity of Design Engineer, Resident Engineer; and Contract Administrator spanning 3 continents – Europe, Asia, and South America, as well as the Caribbean. His experience in design of infrastructure, commercial, institutional buildings and marine works demonstrates a distinctive diversity of engineering knowledge
Eng. Morais is a past student of Munro College; and a graduate of the Edinburgh University, Scotland. He was awarded Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers in 1974 and Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers in 1975. He was bestowed as a Fellow of both the Institution of Structural Engineers and the Jamaica Institution of Engineers in 2011. He was appointed Vice President of the Institution of Structural Engineers Caribbean Branch in 2010, awarded The Award for Excellence in Engineering by the Jamaica Institution of Engineers in 2013 and appointed to the Professional Engineers Registration Board in 2014. Eng. Morais continues to practice, and mentor young professionals.
