Professional Engineers Registration Board - IAN GAGE


Engineer  Ian  Gage  has  over  35  years  of  experience  in  the  water,  wastewater, sanitation  and  solid waste  sectors.  He  is  a  practicing  consulting  engineer  and  a  founding  and consulting  partner  at Environmental  Solutions  Limited.  His  career  began  as  a  design  engineer  at  the National  Water Commission  and  subsequently  worked  for  PCJ  Engineering  and  later  managed  several projects  and programmes for the Government of Jamaica, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the  World  Bank  the  Pan  American  Health  Organization  (PAHO,  Project  Units  of  the  Inter-American Development  Bank  (IDB),  the  Environmental  Foundation  of  Jamaica  and  numerous  private  sector clients. 

He is an old boy of Jamaica College and gained his BSc at Howard University, Washington, D.C., USA.   

Engineer  Gage  served  on  the  Council  of  the  Jamaica  Institution  of  Engineers,  was  the  Conference Chairman  for  the  annual  conference  of  the  Caribbean  Water  and  Wastewater  Association  held  in Jamaica in 2008 and was the Jamaica representative to that organization for the period 2008 – 2010. 

He was appointed to the Professional Engineer’s Registration Board (PERB) in May 2016 and serves as the Chairman of the Registration Act Enforcement Committee. 

He is the First Vice President of the Real Mona Football Club, the coach of the Under 12 programme and is an avid photo enthusiast.
